Greetings from Georgia!
We pray your 2024 is off to a great start! Our hope and heart for 2024 is that we will all draw nearer to Jesus, our Good Shepherd, to hear and know His voice. Amen!
First, we want to express our eternal gratitude to each of you who supported our family on this vision trip to Zambia - in any way. It was indeed an adventure with King Jesus. Our travels to and from went well; traveling with a 17-month-old for 20+ hours in a plane is no joke! (We pretty much mastered the art of distraction, haha.) We had terrific logistical support from Africa Freedom Mission (AFM) and their team, especially the Zambian dynamic duo, Laban and Narah! They helped us navigate our journey on the ground, freeing us from many stressors and allowing us to focus on ministry and relationships.
In the coming weeks, we will share more about our time in Zambia, but for now, in this post, we wanted to let you know that we are home safely and processing our trip through prayer. We also have several testimonies from the young men at Nsansa Village that give context on how their hardships began at a very young age, some as young as 5 or 6, and how God has transformed them into mighty soldiers for Christ. (There are so many amazing stories to tell, stay tuned for those powerful clips!)
So again, thank you for your prayers, love, and financial support. All the glory belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ, who granted us the ability and opportunity to serve. So, for now, our friends, Musale Bwino (in Nyanja, it means “remain well”)!
“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” - Ephesians 3:20-21
