Part 1: Serving the street children in Lusaka, Zambia
One primary ministry of Nsansa Village is street outreach. This can take on a variety of forms (meal, conversation, teaching, prayer, etc.), but the purpose is always the same - to spread the good news of the Gospel! To share a message of hope - of salvation and eternal life through Jesus Christ - to these beautiful children of God.
Two weeks ago, a team from Nsansa Village went to the Nipa and intercity region of Lusaka. Here, boys and girls sleep under the drainage system as a source of shelter and survival. As you can see, these children yearn for the opportunity to connect and interact with others - to feel valued, cherished, and loved in their uncertain and harsh environment. Nsansa makes it a priority to connect with them and love them like Jesus.
If you would like more information on how to support the street outreach, please send us a message - we would love to connect with you.
STAY TUNED: In our next post, we will discuss the empty bottles you see and the heartbreaking reason they are so prevalent on the streets of Lusaka.
Support Update:
Our hope is to move to Lusaka in early August, so we would greatly appreciate your support. Right now, we have raised roughly 10% of our required monthly budget, so we still desperately need prayer and financial partners to come alongside us! If you are able to join our team, our tax-deductible giving link is here.
Blessings, dear friends,
Laura
