“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us...” - Ephesians 3:20
As I reflect on tomorrow (February 5, 2025), which marks six months since we arrived in Zambia, all I can say is "Great is Thy Faithfulness!"
In every facet of our lives here, God has been faithful.
On a personal level, we are just overcome by the blessing of amazing relationships and friendships here. Everyone at Nsansa Village is a huge blessing to us - the admin team, staff members, onsite boys, and all the street children we've gotten to know.

Also, God placed us in a neighborhood that really helped Owen to make friends quickly and flourish, which was a huge answer to prayer. Morgan maintains his extroverted personality through many different friend connections (including some he met via Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) and I value several friends that I hold close to my heart. All in all, we are so excited to see how these relationships continue to grow!
Over the past few months, we have just really felt an abundance of love and support from family members and friends. Even though we are still not at our target monthly support, God hasn't failed us yet - and He never will. He continues to bring new people into our lives as prayer and financial supporters, especially at times when we least expect it - so we see firsthand how He is providing for our needs. It just reminds me not to worry about the things of this world because they are minor in light of eternity and God has everything under control, according to His perfect plan. Praise His Holy Name!
From a ministry standpoint, there have been some very challenging financial times since we arrived in terms of securing the necessary resources to keep the boys fed and enrolled in school. But every time that things got tough, God showed up in just incredible ways.

In November and December, we started advocating for our students and trying to secure sponsors for the 2025 Academic Year. I tried creating videos, posting lives, etc. Though we gained some traction, it wasn't making the impact we needed and it looked like it wouldn't be possible to send our Grade 8 students to boarding school as we had hoped. But then, God! I drafted an application for a grant through Commission to Every Nation (CTEN), our sending organization, and we were chosen! Wow. If you're on social media, check out the video showing my overflowing gratitude for His faithfulness in providing for these boys when I didn't know how.

And, on a similar note, we tried to raise funds for our Grade 6 Class, and again, minor traction. But then, God! He provided sponsors to cover all four Grade 6 boys. WOW.
In each of these situations, I was stressing, losing sleep, trying to figure out how we could provide for them. But - what a waste my stress was! And why did I think it was my job to produce the outcome? God provided for ALL of those students. Whatever your situation, He is faithful every single time. All you need to do is TRUST HIM. ❤️🙏🏻
